Discovery Board Rules

DRAFT, pending attorney review. These rules govern listings and paid placement on the GetBuilo Discovery Board. They form part of our terms of service. Governing law: to be confirmed on final review.
Listings
- Listing a project on the Discovery Board is free. There is no board listing fee.
- Every listing is reviewed before it appears. A listing that is pending or hidden does not appear in any tier.
- Listings must be real projects from the account holder. Fake, sample or misleading listings may be hidden or removed.
- A listing shows only real signals collected on its own page — interested clicks, waitlist joins, feedback and paying customers. We do not show view or click counts on the board.
Sponsored placement
- Sponsored placement costs $49 USD for 30 days. It is a one-time payment and never renews automatically.
- Sponsored listings are always labelled “Sponsored”. Paid placement never changes a project's proof, signals or validation status.
- Sponsored slots are limited. If all slots are taken, checkout is refused before you pay.
- Sponsored placement does not guarantee traffic, leads, customers or sales.
Top Bidding
- Bids start at $10 USD, can be topped up in steps of $5 or more, and are capped at $500 total per 30-day term.
- Top Bidding ranks by highest total bid. Ties go to the project that reached that total first.
- Each bid or top-up is a one-time payment. There is no auto-renewal.
- Your expected rank is shown before you pay, but it may change if others bid.
- If another project outbids you, your bid is not refunded.
- A bid lasts 30 days from purchase. When it ends, the listing returns to the free tier unless you bid again.
Refunds and disputes
- Being outbid does not trigger a refund.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, the associated placement or bid is removed from the board ranking.
- Statutory consumer rights are not limited by these rules; see the billing and refund policy.
