Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Becoming Solo LLC ("we") collects when you use getbuilo.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not use analytics trackers on this site.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and a password or Google sign-in identifier. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and we never see them.
• Your name, if you enter it in the quiz.
• Quiz answers: the skills, time, budget, goal and comfort answers you enter.
• Product Profiles and research inputs: anything you type about your product, plus the URL of a website you ask us to analyse and the text we extract from it.
• Generated results: previews, blueprints, research and validation modules, their version history, and any edits or evidence you add yourself.
• Learning progress: which skill-roadmap resources you mark as complete.
• Billing records: plan, subscription status, credit balance, credit ledger entries and purchase history. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Basic technical logs: server errors and timestamps needed to keep the service working.

We do not collect location data, we do not offer file or image uploads, and there is no messaging, sharing, commenting or other user-to-user feature on the platform.

Email

We ask for your email so your quiz, results and purchases can be attached to your account and recovered later. The service itself does not currently send you marketing email or newsletters. Emails you do receive come from our providers: sign-in and password messages from our authentication provider, and receipts and billing notices from Stripe. If we ever start sending marketing email, it will be opt-in and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

• To generate and deliver the results you asked for — performance of our contract with you.
• To keep your work available in your account across sessions and devices — performance of our contract.
• To meter credits, process payments and keep billing records — contract, and our legal obligations for tax and accounting.
• To answer support requests, prevent abuse and investigate faults — our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.

We do not use your Product Profiles, quiz answers or generated results to train AI models, we do not share them with other users, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Stripe — payments, subscriptions, invoices and the billing portal.
• An AI model provider, accessed through the Lovable AI gateway — receives the prompt text built from your quiz answers, Product Profile, website extract and prior sections in order to generate a result.
• Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site and its server functions.

These providers act as processors on our instructions. They may process data in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses. If we change a provider in a way that affects your data, we will update this page.

Automated processing

The service is built on AI generation, so most of what you see is produced automatically. It is planning and research content, not a decision about you: nothing here decides your eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance or any other legal or similarly significant outcome. See our AI disclosure for the limits of that output.

Website analysis

If you supply a website URL, we fetch that page from our servers to extract text used in your research, and we store the extract with your project. We only fetch public web addresses, we do not log in on your behalf, and we block requests to internal or private network addresses. Only submit URLs you have the right to analyse.

How long we keep it

• Account data, profiles, results, version history and learning progress: kept while your account exists, so your saved work stays available.
• Archived projects: kept in your account until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
• Billing and purchase records (purchases, subscription records, credit ledger entries, Stripe customer and session references, webhook event records): kept for as long as reasonably necessary for billing, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and dispute resolution, and for longer where law requires or permits it. We do not run an automated deletion schedule for these records today, so they persist until deleted manually on request or as part of a future retention routine.
• Server error logs: kept short-term for troubleshooting.

Retention periods above describe our practice and intent. Apart from short-lived server logs, deletion is carried out manually when you ask for it rather than by an automated timer, and copies may persist briefly in our providers' routine backups before they age out.

Deleting your account

There is no self-service delete button yet. Email support@getbuilo.com from the email address on your account with the word "delete" in the subject. Sending from the account address is how we verify it is you; if you cannot, we may ask for another detail only you would know, such as a recent purchase date. We do not ask for identity documents.

• Deleted: your profile and account record, quiz answers, previews, blueprints, projects, Market Intelligence and Validation results, saved version history, evidence you added, website URLs and extracted website text, and learning progress.
• Cancelled first: any active plan, so you are not charged again. Cancel yourself from the billing page if you want that to take effect immediately.
• Forfeited, not refunded: unused plan credits and unused purchased credits are lost on deletion and have no cash value. Ask for any refund you are entitled to before requesting deletion.
• Retained: billing and purchase records described above, kept for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes.
• Outside our control: Stripe keeps its own payment, invoice and dispute records under its own retention obligations, and we cannot delete those on your behalf.

Deletion is permanent — export anything you want to keep as a PDF first. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and to complete them within 30 days; if a request is unusually complex we will tell you and explain the delay rather than miss it silently.

Your rights

• Access — request a copy of the data associated with your account.
• Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your account and its contents.
• Portability — request your profiles and results in a machine-readable form. You can also export any report to PDF or print it yourself at any time.
• Objection or restriction — ask us to stop a particular processing activity.
• Withdrawal of consent, where we relied on consent.

To exercise any of these, email support@getbuilo.com from the address on your account. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority. See Deleting your account above for exactly what a deletion request does.

California residents

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no "Do Not Sell or Share" link to offer. California residents can exercise the access, correction and deletion rights above using the same email address, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what the service needs to work:

• A session token stored in your browser by our authentication provider, so you stay signed in.
• Local browser storage that remembers a quiz you started before creating an account, so it can be attached to your account afterwards.
• Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout and billing pages for fraud prevention.

We set no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required. Clearing your browser storage signs you out and discards an unsaved quiz.

Children

The service is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16, we do not knowingly collect their information, and we will delete any account we discover belongs to a child.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date above and, for account holders, describe the change in the product or by email.
